* Describe about the phone

   hey what's up guys will here for Motorola's new edge+ has been arelease to take on the best flagshipsurround which is no small task does itpack enough high-end features to beworth $1000 or even 1200 euros let'sfind out in our moto edge plus review[Music]these days when you think of moto youpicture a mid-range phone but thecompany hopes to change all of that witha premium moto edge plus it brings asleek curved Gorilla Glass bill that isreminiscent of the highest qualityphones out there including a tallwraparound screen we like the edge plushis striking looks with his shiny finishsquared off corners and sharp edges theframe is made of aluminum and is quitethin at the sides to make room for thedisplay it does thicken now towards thetop and bottom and the bottom surface isflat enough to stand the phone up on adesk if he ever wanted to one thing wedon't like here is that you don't getthe peace of mind that comes with IPrated waterproofing moto does claimssplash proofing in the design but theydo that for their cheaper phones to theedge plus is curved display is a sixpoint seven inch OLED with a 1080presolution this provides a pixel densityof 385 PPI decent but a bit less thansome higher res flagships there's asmall punch hole at the top for theselfie camera this is the first everphone from Motorola where the fast 90Hertz display and content looks quitesmooth overall this panel is decent youget those deep oled blacks and there'salso support for HDR 10 plus colors aresort of accurate but you do get a blueshift around the curved edge forbrightness we measured 422 nits maximumand up to 600 nits in auto mode when inbright conditions this is good thoughthe edge plus still trails behind someof the competition in this regardunder the displace it's an opticalfingerprint scanner it's fast andreliable for waking up and unlocking thephone for audio the edge plus has astereo speaker setup with the bottomfiring speaker and the air piecedoubling as the second one the setup istuned by a company called waves todeliver high loudness and output qualityloudness wise the speakers are greatscoring very good in our tests soundquality is definitely very good as wellbut compared to the best out there itlacks some punch in the lows and thehighs are a bit too harsh[Music]there is a 3.5 millimeter headphone jackwhich these days is a rarity for aflagship so plugging in traditionalheadphones is a simple matter the edgeclosest interface is quite close tostock Android 10 even though the phoneisn't part of the Android 1 programeverything feels quite smooth andstreamlined and almost all of thefunctions are provided through Google'sapps there are a few custom featuresthough edge touch is a bar on the sidewhich can hold customizable shortcutsfor you there are a series of motoactions there motion gestures you canuse to interact with or control thephone and there's an effect called edgelights which lights up the edges of thedisplay for things like notifications orwhen the phone is ringing pretty neatmoto gametime give some extra controlover the phone settings while gamingsuch as blocking calls and notificationsgame time is not new but for the MotoEdge series it now allows you to addvirtual triggers on the edge of thephone for in-game use at the heart ofthe moto edge plus is a flagship gradesnapdragon 865 chipset it provides bothtop-notch performance and support for 5gconnectivity the benchmark scores areexcellent here and performance in gamesis great the phone does heat up a bitunder heavy use but we didn't notice anysignificant throttling

    if you want tokeep a lot of content or games on boardthe edge plus has 256 gigs of storageit's a decent amount but if you needmore this isn't expandable the Motorolaedge plus is powered by a sizable fivethousand milliamp hour battery it does agreat job scoring an endurance rating ofa hundred hours in our battery testsregardless of the screen refresh ratethis is one of the best scores we'veseen in this class the edge plus comeswith an 18 watt charger in the box andthere is support for wireless chargingand reverse wireless charging - chargingspeed isn't too impressive though withthe bundled charger we were able to fillthe battery from 0 to 30 percent in halfan hour yes the battery is large butthis speed is still behind thecompetition let's move on to the camerasthe Moto edge+ has an advanced quadcamera set up with a 108 megapixel quadbear main can an 8 megapixel telephotowith three times optical zoom16-megapixel ultra-wide cam which cantake macro shots and a tof depth sensorthe main cameras large sensor is thesame one found in the shell Mimi tan Proit bins pixels four and one so imagescome out in 27 megapixels the qualityfrom this cam in daylight is excellentyou get a ton of detail and noise ispractically non-existent foliage has avery natural rendition dynamic range isflagship worthy and the colors lookgreat you can shoot in the full 108megapixels if you want these have morenoise and dynamic range takes a hit andyou don't necessarily get a meaningfulimprovement in detail one of thebenefits of having such a large sensoris that you can achieve somenice-looking shots with a shallow depthof field or you can achieve this effectdigitally through portrait mode alsotaken with the main cam these shots areslightly zoomed in at around two timesand are still 27 megapixels andresolution they have excellent subjectseparation the edge plus has thisunexplainable behavior in auto modewhere images from any of the threecameras come out in twenty-sevenmegapixels this requires some majorupscaling and it causes a noticeableloss in quality this is most apparentwith the telephoto cam since it has tooutput 27 megapixels from an 8 megapixelsensor another quirk with this camera isthat this supposed to provide 3 timesnative zoom but when you use the threetimes toggle in the viewfinder theresulting photos appear to be more likesix times and that's achieved withdigital cropping there is no chance fora photo that's been digitally croppedand up scaled so much to look any goodwe really hope moto will find a way tofix these issues with a software updatebecause they rendered this camera planeuseless you can access the nativeresolution and zoom of the camera if youshould in manual mode these 8 megapixelphotos are sharper and more detailedthough since they don't have auto HDRthe dynamic range is less than stellarmoving on to the ultra wide this one isthe same as the Motorola Edge non-plusand its images are nice with excellentcontrast and dynamic range and livelycolors the only thing is that sensor ofscale from 16 to 27 megapixels they area bit soft if you switch to manual modeto get a native 16 megapixel image youget a boost in sharpnessbut again you can notice the lack of HDRyou also miss out on distortioncorrection so straight lines will end upcurved along the edges of the frame theultra wide cam has auto focus and thatlets it do some nice-looking close-upsin macro mode

     these actually come out in16 megapixels but for some reason theyhave a cropped in field of view now wanta low-light photography and here theedge plus kind of fails to impress shotswith the main cam do have well preservedcolors low noise and well-defined detailin better lit areas however the shotsare also typically underexposed anddynamic range is rather narrow turningon the night mode rains in thehighlights nicely and gives a minorboost to the detail in shadows howeverthe exposure still seems dark overallespecially compared to the bright nightmode shots you see from competitorszooming at night will either get you a6-time zoom shot from the telephoto orif the light is really low a purelydigital three times zoom from the maincamera these are both in 27 megapixelsand as you can imagine neither looksgood and there's no night mode for thiscamera the ultra wide cam doesn't havenight mode either the shots you get arebarely usable they're underexposed softand noisy that's very often the casewith ultra whites but we've seenflagships that can make a decent job ofit for selfies the Moto edge+ has thesame twenty five megapixel quad bearfront-facing cameras the non plus andimages come out in 6.2 megapixels thesehave excellent dynamic range and spot-oncolors and although there's no autofocusthe photos typically come out nice andsharp a new trend with flagship phonesis the ability to recording resolutionsabove 4k and this also features on themoto edge plus it can record video and6k at 30fps and these look good howeverthe quality is hard to tell apart from4k video both 6k and 4k have good detailaccurate colors and nicely why dynamicrange so it's hard to justify the extrastorage space you need for the higherresolution for some reason only the maincamp supports anything above 1080p andthere are no 60fps options available1080p video from the telephoto camerassawand a bit hazy but usable if you needthat extra reach the ultra white cams1080p footage has okay detail and colorsare more saturated than the main camerasdynamic range is decent for this sort ofcam electronic stabilization isavailable in all modes on all camerasexcept for 6k on the main Campbellfootage while the ultra wide may exhibitsome focus hunting as you walk thetelephoto stabilization also isn't quiteas effective overall these are decentcameras for daylight shooting though thequirks with resolution and upscalingleave us flat out puzzled in low-lightthe edge+ tends to fall behind theflagship competition so that's theMotorola edge plus you get a beautifulcurved glass build with a curved OLEDdisplay to match there's a flagshipchipset loud stereo speakersclass-leading battery life and a reallyversatile set of cameras alright thatsounds good so what's the problem herewell the edge+ is going for a thousandbucks in the US and 1200 euros in europeto justify that price it has to be oneof the best if not the best choice outthere and there are some ways in whichthe edge plus just falls behind youdon't get full waterproofing charging ison the slow side the display isn'toutstanding for a flagship and thecameras underperform in low-light sooverall the edge+ doesn't seem worthgoing for unless you can find it at adiscount.
